DIGITAL DIAGNOSTIC LABORATORIES, LLC
LABORATORY QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY
As provided to all Licensed, Trained & Certified Mold Inspectors in
the system use of the Digital DIS-10 System.
DIS-10 SUMMARY: The Digital DIS-10 System is
a licensed computer based digital imaging system that allows the
microscopic examination of particles or microorganisms, such as
fungi, to be rapidly identified directly from the mold sampling
site.
The Digital DIS-10 Mold Inspector is trained and
certified in the system use of this precise state of the art
technology. The Inspector/technician views actual samples of
suspected mold that may pose a potential health risk or hazard from
the sample site. The technician then transmits the digital
images/photomicrographs to Digital Diagnostic Laboratories, LLC
where highly qualified analysts perform mold identification and
provide fast, accurate analytical results reporting.
An additional benefit of the Digital DIS-10 System
is that a much larger image is present for the mycologist or
bacteriologist identifying the sample to view than what would be
seen through a normal microscope. This allows the counting of spores
to be more accurate.
Photomicrographs are stored and cataloged in Digital
Diagnostic Laboratories Online Mold Analysis System (OMAS) database.
They are legally defensible, supporting expert testimony for today’s
increasing mold litigation as well as for the general health and
safety concerns associated with some molds.
The Digital DIS-10 licensed, trained and certified
Mold Inspector’s priority is to reduce the amount of time a client
has to wait for mold identification and analytical results. Their
client’s time constraints as well as their health and safety are
fully realized. All analytical reporting is handled in an expedient,
professional and confidential manner.
